Tab Curtains

With tab top curtains, loops of fabric are sewn into the top of the curtain. The curtain rod hangs through the loops. Sometimes, these curtains feature decorative embellishments like buttons. Tab top curtains are most popular in casual styles, and they’re also used in more contemporary country styles as well.

Goblet Pleat

The top of the curtain is with a row of goblet-shaped design at regular intervals, thus the name. Goblet pleat is especially suitable for curtains with long drop. It is luxurious and formal, thus is a nice option for grand buildings. 2 times fabric is the suggested fullness.

Pinch Pleat

Pinch pleat curtains are a highly decorative heading, drawing together lots of fabric into a tightly gathered and stitched bunch at the top. The permanently sewn-in pleats make for a smart finish, with elegant folds flowing from top to bottom. You can have pinch pleat curtains with either a pole or a track.

Pencil Pleat

The name is derived from the curtain’s heading, which resembles a line of tightly-packed pencils.  Pencil pleat curtains make a great match for more traditional interiors, but there’s no reason they can’t complement more contemporary style homes

Eyelet Pleat

Eyelet curtains are very fashionable and make a dramatic feature of a window thanks to the deep folds of fabric, which run in uniform lines from top to bottom. Eyelet curtains always hang from a pole, which is threaded through metal rings.

Cartridge Pleat

Cartridge pleat curtains are excellent for curtains made in large or distinctive patterns because they are not very full and so curtains lies flatter, making the pattern easier to read. Giving a much more contemporary feel to the curtains, cartridge pleats have the added advantage of being very thrifty with cloth as they are made at approximately 1.3 times fullness, rather than the 2 or 2.2 of more conventional headings.

Wave Pleat

Wave curtains are minimalist in appearance and have been designed to create a flowing wave effect. The look is achieved through the combination of a unique heading tape and a Wave glider-cord, to ensure the fabric hangs in a soft and even pattern.
